Participants: The seminar included 191 participants from Mexico, Peru and Costa Rica. Over 95% of participants indicated that the seminar would facilitate their use of the ICD-11 guidelines in their clinical practice. Over 97% said they would recommend the seminar to their colleagues.
Seminar Description:
This 4-week live online seminar provided an overview of the key principles of the WHO’s ICD-11 and in-depth knowledge about the ICD-11 CDDR. The seminar covered the areas of highest disease burden and service utilization in adult mental health, as well as those with the greatest innovations and changes in the ICD-11. The seminar was highly relevant to the assessment of psychopathology and the diagnosis of mental and behavioural disorders in clinical practice. Regardless of the diagnostic system currently in use in their countries for health reporting and statistics, mental health professionals benefit from learning and applying these groundbreaking new diagnostic guidelines in their research and practice.
