ICD-11 Clinical Descriptions and Diagnostic Requirements

The World Health Organization has recently published the Clinical Descriptions and Diagnostic Guidelines (CDDR) for ICD-11 Mental, Behavioural and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The complete CDDR manual can be downloaded from its publication page on the WHO website, at the link below. From that page, you can also watch the webinar for the CDDR global launch, which took place on March 8, 2024, and download a poster describing new features of the CDDR.

WHO Global Clinical Practice Network

The WHO Global Clinical Practice Network is a network of more than 18,500 mental health and primary care professionals from 163 countries that was set up to participate in field studies related to ICD-11 Mental, Behavioural and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Twenty studies have been conducted and used to make further improvements to the CDDR. The GCPN is still participating in research to support the aims of WHO, and have early access to additional materials and training opportunities.
