Francisco Rafael de la Peña is Professor of Psychiatry and Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) based at the National Institute of Psychiatry Ramón de la Fuente Muñíz, where he works as a researcher and head of the research promotion unit. He was a member of the WHO team of global experts for the development of the ICD-11 and CDDR for Childhood Disorders, especially in disruptive behaviour disorders. He has led a range of research projects related to the study of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the development and the validation of diagnostic interviews.
