Jesús Castro Calvo has a PhD in Psychology and is Professor of Psychological Evaluation at the University of Valencia, Spain. His research focuses on the intersection between sexual behavior and addictive behaviors, and more specifically, on the study of the etiopathogenesis, evaluation and treatment of compulsive sexual behavior disorder. Moreover, Jesús has participated in research projects and studies exploring more general aspects of sexuality (e.g., HIV prevention, sexuality in the elderly, etc.) and other addictive behaviors (e.g., gaming disorder, “binge watching,” etc.). In terms of clinical experience, Jesús has practiced since 2014 as a therapist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with various sexual disorders, primarily compulsive sexual behavior disorder.
