Spencer C. Evans is Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Miami, where he is a core faculty member in their Clinical Program and Child Division. His research focuses on the development, assessment, and treatment of irritability and aggressive behavior in children and adolescents. His teaching and training activities focus on clinical assessment, statistics, and research methods. Dr. Evans completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Kansas and his postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. For several years, he has worked with WHO in their development of the ICD-11 and CDDR for mental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular focus on disruptive behaviour and dissocial disorders.
